Capital City Sports Marketing, Inc. owns and operates the Atlanta Swim Association (ASA) in the metro Atlanta area. ASA is made up of approximately 95 teams and 13,000 swimmers from the ages of 5 to 18. The 95 teams are primarily neighborhood pools located in swim and tennis communities. Capital City organizes the schedule, league officials, awards and a website (AtlantaSwimming.com) for the swim league.

We are looking for an intern to help market and sell sponsorships for the league. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of competitive swimming. The candidate selected will be based on experience, personal job interview and references.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: Attending or graduated from a four year college or job related experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS Ability to build strong relations.
Excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
Strong verbal and written skills.
Ability to understand all aspects of our business and how it can benefit others.
Ability to process information quickly, to participate in constructive dialogue, to analyze information and to articulate the company’s services.
Ability to increase revenue with sponsors.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Four year college degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Journalism, Public Relations or Advertising.

PREFERRED SKILLS: Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.

PREFFERED EXPERIENCE: Sales and Marketing experience

WORKING CONDITIONS: Will work independently. Must be self motivated.
