TYI’s (for external rotation)

T.Y.I-

Lie face down, scoot to the edge of the bed or table until your mid chest is at the edge with your head, shoulders and arms off the table. Hold each position for 5-10 seconds. Repeat each series 10-12 times.

Position 1 - Bend at elbow holding upper arms parallel to floor, palms facing back.

Position 2 – Transition  - Rotate lower arm and palms to be parallel to floor.

Position 3 – Transition – Reach straight ahead to full extension keeping arms and palms parallel to floor (Superman pose).
